Bookings
A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking and the items chosen. Final numbers are to be advised 7 days prior to the event and the balance is payable 7 days before the event. Deposits are refundable, up to 7 days prior to the event. Cancellations with less than 7 days notice will forfeit deposits.
We accept payment via credit/ debit card, PayPal and Venmo.
Delivery
We are happy to deliver your items to you. A delivery and collection fee will be charged for all locations over 5 miles from Los Altos. The delivery fee is calculated at $1 per mile plus toll fees if applicable. You are welcome to collect and return your order to our base in Los Altos at no cost.
Rental Period
For your convenience, we offer a generous hire period of 3 nights to allow plenty of time for setup and styling and for tidying up at the end of your tea party celebration.
Minimum Rental
There is no minimum rental for our Rosie Posie Afternoon Tea Party and Rosie Posie Champagne Tea Party packages. If, however, cake stands and trays are ordered independently of our packages, the minimum order is $50.
Damages
Clients are responsible for any damages or losses incurred to any of our items or packing cases whilst in their possession. A security deposit of $100 is required for all orders. For orders over $500, the security deposit is 50% of the total order. We will return the security deposit, in full, the week after the event if no replacements are necessary. Breakages and loss are charged at current replacement cost per item and will be deducted from the security deposit. Payment of the security deposit indicates your acceptance of these terms.
WASHING UP:
Due to our vintage pieces being fine bone china, they are unsuitable for the dishwasher (or microwave). We prefer to hand-wash our china ourselves to preserve the delicate designs and gilding and also to ensure they are perfectly clean for our next customer to enjoy. Hand washing is included in our price.
Please ensure all items are returned in the packaging provided and packed as delivered.
Please scrape off excess food and ensure teacups are dry before packing.
A printed inventory of hired items will be signed by the renter and Rosie Posie Teatime at the point of collection/delivery.
Vintage China Color Choice
We can provide your china in your choice of color(s), subject to availability.
Liability
Rosie Posie Teatime accepts no responsibility for any damage, illness or injury caused by the use of any of the rented items or packaging. Items are rented at the customers’ own risk.
